I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who wrote comments or called me in regards to the first article.  I didn’t realize when I wrote Part I that it would touch so many people.   It really means a lot to both my sister and I that this article has generated so much passion for our car.  Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts and thank you for being a part of fore filling the dream!

Back from Stripping

With the car finally back from stripping Ron was able to get started on the metal work.  Given the age of the car it was in remarkable shape and not much patch work needed to be done.

Stealth Mode-Primer First Stage

Now that the metal work has been completed it was on to the first stage of primer.  We like to call this the stealth mode since the entire car is done in black primer.

Primer Second Stage-Paint Under Coat

I decided instead of boring you with a lot of the second stage primer shots I would give you a combination of primer, paint and under coating.  You will see that the engine compartment has been painted and the bottom of the car has been under coated.
