2021 Winged Warriors/Talladega Family Reunion
UPDATE
As of this date, May 30, 2021, we have well over half of the host hotel rooms booked. I have added an additional 10 rooms, but do not waste time booking your room if you plan to attend. If you have not yet attended an Aero Car Reunion or one of our Talladega Spoiler Family Reunions, mark your calendar now for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 23 through Saturday, September 25, 2021. For clarity, our first event will start Thursday morning and the last one will be Saturday night. That means you should plan to check into your hotel on Wednesday the 22th and check out on Sunday the 26th. There is an option to book longer if you want to play in Nashville on your own.
This will be a reunion similar to our previous events, but bigger and grander! It will officially be the Winged Warrior’s Nationals! Katrina and I will host their event here in Murfreesboro, TN. However, this event will also include the Daytona Superbird Club and our own Talladega Spoiler Registry Club!
As of right now, NASVILLE and TENNESSEE are wide open. Some places still require masks but most venues are at 100% capacity! We are unsure what the status will be in late September but we are confident that we will be back to complete normal by then. As always at our events will be family-friendly and casual.
As of now there is no event Registration yet available, that will come as we continue to work on activities.
The host hotel is the Holiday Inn Silohill in Murfreesboro, TN. You can book your rooms now! We have a block of 60 rooms at a rate of $115 plus tax per night without breakfast or $123.50 per night with two breakfast tickets. There is a restaurant on-site with breakfast available. Ask for the Winged Warriors rate. The hotel is offering us truck and trailer parking immediately behind the hotel on a large grassy area. More details on this will follow. The hotel is near the exit from I-24 Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro, TN. There are many restaurants in the area and a major outdoor shopping mall, The Avenues. There are 5,000 hotel rooms in Murfreesboro. You may find rooms at a lower rate and you certainly will find them at a higher rate, but beware of poor locations and avoid “seedy” hotels. You may also have difficulty with parking of trucks and trailers at most hotels. Murfreesboro has many tourists because of its proximity to Nashville, and we also have many conventions and sports competitions going on within Murfreesboro during the year that creates an enormous demand for rooms. Please book your room early!
Here is how you can book your room now. Please read the hotel’s requirements for the proper procedures.

You can also call the Hotel directly and make a reservation. Make sure you tell them it is for the Winged Warriors event. The hotel’s number is (615) 751-5300, press 0 for the front desk and give the block name, Winged Warriors or the block code WWR. If you have questions or problems, please contact me at rfleener@comcast.net.
If you THINK you will attend PLEASE drop me an email at rfleener@comcast.net as soon as possible. This is NOT your Registration and will not be binding but will help us plan number appropriate activities. Once we have an estimate of the number attending, we will post specific activities and Registration procedures. For now, let us know if you plan to attend and reserve your room before the host hotel is booked. It will help tremendously if you tell us if you will be bringing a car, will you need trailer parking and how many people will attend.
Mark your calendar now for our 2021 event beginning Thursday, September 23, 2020, through Saturday, September 26th. If you have attended one of our events in the past, you know you will have fun. We prefer our events to be casual, family-friendly and provide lots of opportunities for you to enjoy meeting new friends. There will be one day of hanging out in a great location and getting to know each other and maybe some tech sessions, at least one day of driving and visiting car related locations with the third day having some surprises.
