Talladega Twins go to Norway

The American Muscle Car is desired all over the World but as far as the Aero Cars are concerned it seems that in the Australia/New Zealand area and Norway they are especially popular. We have several cars Registered in these Countries and have even seen some of them transported back to the US to attend Reunions. We recently had two more leave our shores for a new home.
Two consecutive VIN Ford Talladegas that started life from two different Iowa dealerships have been purchased by a collector in Norway. We have seen one of these cars at previous reunions at Indy and else where. These two cars are very unusual in that they were both purchased by the same original owner back in the day. Are they the only pair of consecutive numbered VIN Talladegas owned by the same original owner? Most likely.
The story does not end there. The lowest number car was immediately converted to a Drag Racer and the higher numbered car was used as the tow car! We all know how unusual it is to see a Talladega but can you imagine seeing one maroon Talladega towing another maroon Talladega dragster back in 1969?
It is sad to see these cars leave the US but it is also rewarding to know that their history and importance in the collector car community is appreciated around the World. It is also good to know that they will continue to be owned by one owner. I asked the new owner what his intentions were for the two cars and he has not yet decided. What would you do? Would you put them both back to original condition? Show one and drive one? Keep them original or do 100 point restorations and sell one? How about keeping one a dragster and the other a tow car? I know what I would do but what would you do?
