New information keeps arriving on the Talladega living in Lithuania. There is even one photo that is really great. Check this out.
Owner, Linas Palovis stated that he was very excited to receive an email from UK racer Geoff Letts. In it he included a couple of pictures of Talladega from the old times. Linas assumes, the first one was taken just after the car was imported to the UK from US; this is how it looked back then. The second photo is assumed to have been taken right after the repaint to Petty Blue. It shows a couple of trim bits are missing, which were probably not yet installed after the repaint.
Here is what Geoff wrote to him:
“I found the pictures I mentioned. Not sure how useful they are but you are welcome to them as part of Your Talladega story and an unexpected Christmas present!
The first pic was taken in the 90’s at Shakespear Raceway in the UK and the second one was at the AAC Nationals at Billing Aquadrome in the UK around the same time.”
“I am still regretting not buying it myself…I had 3 years to make up my mind but couldn’t make it happen. Oh well, it’s in a good home now.”
