Likewise, if you don’t know what the MCACN (Muscle Car And Corvette Nationals) are you haven’t been paying close enough attention to the car hobby. In November of 2019 these two events will come together for a once in a lifetime display. Although the real focus of the show is on muscle cars there are some outstanding Corvettes.

On November 23 & 24, 2019 the MCACN show in Chicago will be hosting a very special once in a lifetime gathering of the Ford and Mercury Aero Cars to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of their Aero Battles with the MOPAR Aero Cars. The last time this occurred was at in 2014. At that time all the Aero Cars were on display in one group. This time the MOPARS will have their group featuring the Dodge Daytona and Marty will be hosting the Ford and Mercury cars in the “Burke” group.

If you have never attended the MCACH show you have missed, arguably, hands down the best muscle car show in the World! You can see multiple unique one of a kind cars. Numerous reveals will, for the first time, display some of the finest restorations in the country. One of those will be Marty’s 1969 Dan Gurney SCJ. This is likely going to be the best Spoiler, if not the best Cyclone, in the World. If you have attended one of the Talladega Family Reunions held at our home, you have seen the “before” version of the car in my garage. Don’t miss this reveal it is going to be awesome.

Some of my first and strongest memories from my childhood relate to cars. I still remember when things happened based on what car I was driving at the time. I grew up and lived in Iowa for nearly 40 years before moving to Southern California and now live in Tennessee. I was a Corvette fanatic for years but then re-discovered vintage American Muscle. My wife, Katrina, and I decided we wanted to focus on unique and rare muscle cars. After a lot of research we fell in love with the Ford Blue Oval Aero Cars. These were only built in 1969 and and aerodynamics became an important part of winning races. The only purpose of these limited production cars was to win NASCAR races using the Boss 429 and 427 power plants complimented with a special, wind cheating, aerodynamic body. The Ford Talladega and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II are terrific and historic cars. This site is devoted to these car and their owners past and present. We provide an Online Registry for recording the long term history and ownership of every remaining Talladega, Spoiler and Spoiler II.
