Update on Jim Ozinga Talladega Restoration

We have posted some photos in the past of Jim Ozinga’s restoration of detail parts. Now it’s time to see some hints of what the entire car is going to look like when completed.
Jim sent in these photos of the latest work on the Talladega. All that’s left are the tailpipes, front seat upholstery, and minor odds and ends. He says it runs great and transmission works fine. (Although he has yet to sit it on the ground and actually drive it!)

His plans are to have it ready for the Fairlane Club of America meet in Dayton Ohio this year. He hopes to get some suggestions and comments on the car for correctness there. Then he will have it refined for the 2019 FCA Dearborn meet for concours judging. From what I see I think he is ready now, minus the Cragar wheels.

All we can say is outstanding workmanship….very fine job!
Looks great Jim!
Thanks!
Set it on the ground last night. Drove it 4 feet forward and then four feet back. Crummy weather, and then it snowed again today. The Salt boys were at it in full foce so it will be a bit before I can drive it…
Regards, Jim
