2014 Calendars are a Go!
A couple of weeks ago I asked if you wanted a 2014 Calendar for the Talladega family of cars and your response was what I hoped for; YES! However, I also heard from many of you that you wanted to see more than just shiny show cars. Responders said they wanted to see barn finds and project cars as well as the show cars. You asked and we will provide!
This is an opportunity for everyone to get YOUR car on the calendar. I am looking for high quality and high resolution photos of any Talladega, Spoiler or Spoiler II or related car. I reserve the right to select and edit any photo submitted. I have received some great photos for cars for the Registry but most of them are low resolution and will not work for the calendar. If you want your car/photo to be considered you need to send me the image in a JPG file format; high resolution and emailed to rfleener@comcast.net. You can send as many photos as you want but please do not submit more than 3 high resolution photos in any one email. If you do there is a good chance I will not get them.
You have until September 25th to get them to me.
If you are taking new photos for submission just follow some good basic rules in taking your pictures. Here are a couple of sites you may want to check out:

In general, no open hoods, trunks or doors; details are ok but if you do and engine make sure it is a great show piece. As for field and barn finds, the more rustic and the rougher they are the better. I would love to have some junk yard photos! If it is a project car show us something that is really interesting or reveals the uniqueness of the body; like the fender seams on the Talladega and Spoiler II.
This is a chance for your car to be a star and appear on a calendar. If you have a good photo and you don’t have a high resolution image send it along anyway, we may even create one or more pages with smaller images of multiple cars on it.
If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email. I have included some of the photos from last year’s calendar.
