Talladega Spoiler Family Reunion 2017
We have been overwhelmed with the number of you interested in the 2017 Talladega Family Reunion. Because this could be a much larger group than we have had before a formal Pre-Registration Form is required. The dates are Friday October 20 and Saturday October 21, 2017. It will be held in Murfreesboro, TN just south of Nashville.
The schedule of events has not yet been finalized but will likely include a half day short driving Tour; a couple of informal technical garage sessions will be held and may include Dr. Cyclone (who said he will bring some of his new parts along), The Archaeologist and The Judge may even show up; a swap meet by attendees; and other surprises.
Of course, Katrina and I will host an evening Tennessee BQ meal with all the “fixins”.
All activities will be held or initiate at our home unless otherwise specified. This is a very informal event and is family friendly. Many of you attended last year and some have attended everyone of our Reunions over the past 7 or 8 years but I believe we will have a number of folks who have never attended before.
You do not need to bring your car or even own one. If you, we encourage you to bring your car. It can be a show car, driver or a project car that will sit on your trailer all weekend; it makes no difference to anyone in attendance. We all love the cars and everyone’s car is appreciated. (1968 Color Code and 1969 GT 500s are also welcome as are Petty Torinos)
If you don’t own one of Ford Motor Company’s 1969 Aero Cars but want to, this is the perfect event for you. Some of our group have multiple cars and will be happy to help you find that perfect match for you. I can personally guarantee that what ever car, weather it be a Talladega, Spoiler or Spoiler II, you will see it at the Reunion! Many previous attendees came just to see what the cars look like and how they go together.

The 2017 Talladega Family Reunion is Free to all Team Members and Guests, limit two adults and 2 children. Non-Team Members Registration Fee is $25, please enclose a Check with your Registration.

More information on the schedule of activities will be emailed to Registered Attendees as they become available. There may be an optional event on Sunday the 22nd. As of now we do not expect to have a host hotel and encourage you to make your own reservations as soon as possible. For convince and safety I suggest you secure a hotel near I-24 and Gateway Medical Center Parkway (first choice) or I-24 and Old Fort Parkway (second choice). These will be the more expensive hotels but will also have the best security for parking.
