We have had a great response for this year’s Talladega Family Reunion. We already have as many confirmed reservations as we had attend last year’s Reunion. If you have any interest in attending this year please fill out the Reservation Form and get it back to me as soon as possible. Because it is held at our home and we want to keep the Reunion friendly and informal there is a limit to how many we can easily accommodate and may have to cut off Reservations if we feel it is getting too large. Several of you responded favorably to our original survey on the Reunion but have not yet confirmed. If everyone who said they are interested confirms we will likely need to shut Registration down at that point so don’t procrastinate.
Our tentative schedule will have us doing a driving tour on Friday with at least one and possibly two visits to local attractions. We will try to keep the total distance traveled to under 150 miles. If you would rather not drive your car you can drive your tow vehicle or better yet car pool with one of the other attendees. This will be a rain or shine tour.
Saturday will be at our home with tours of our cars, our miniature donkeys for those who are interested, tech sessions with some of our gurus who will be attending and an informal parts swap meet. Katrina and I will also host a typical Tennessee meal for all registered participants.

You do not need to bring your car or even own one but if you do, we encourage you to bring it. It can be a show car, driver or a project car that will sit on your trailer all weekend; it makes no difference to anyone in attendance. We all love the cars and everyone’s car is appreciated. (1968 Color Code and 1969 GT 500s are also welcome as are Petty Torinos) I have more than one request to attend from people who do not own Aero Cars but are interested!
If you don’t own one of Ford Motor Company’s 1969 Aero Cars but want to, this is the perfect event for you. Some of our group have multiple cars and will be happy to help you find that perfect match for you. I can personally guarantee that what ever car, weather it be a Talladega, Spoiler or Spoiler II, you will see it at the Reunion! Many previous attendees came just to see what the cars look like and how they go together.

More information on the schedule of activities will be emailed to Registered Attendees as they become available. There may be an optional event on Sunday the 22nd. As of now we do not expect to have a host hotel and encourage you to make your own reservations as soon as possible. For convince and safety I suggest you secure a hotel near I-24 and Gateway Medical Center Parkway (first choice) or I-24 and Old Fort Parkway (second choice). These will be the more expensive hotels but will also have the best security for parking.
