Driver Quality Talladega For Sale

Low Miles and Fresh Paint

We really don’t have a For Sale Classifieds section anymore but we do try to help out anyone trying to sell a Registry car. This includes the Ford Talladega and Richard Petty Torino plus the Mercury Cyclone Spoiler and Spoiler II as well as the 68 GT 500 and 69 Color Code cars. There is no charge for this service. You just need to supply detailed information, good photos, price, and contact information including the state the car is located in. We would appreciate it if you let us know when it sells and what price you got. This helps us advise other potential buyers, and sellers in the future.

Today, we have a 1969 Maroon driver quality Ford Talladega. It is owned by Roy Parker located in North Carolina. According to Roy the Talladega is solid and rust free. However, the passenger side floor pan has been replaced.  The trunk is in good original condition. It has new maroon paint but is a good looking driver but not a show car.

The bumpers are almost new. It is a matching numbers car with the numbers on the VIN, door tag, inner fenders, engine block, and trans all matching. The odometer reads around 60k miles.

Recently it was nicely detailed under the hood and runs well. The previous owner rebuilt the engine. It has a new windshield, air cleaner, exhaust, shocks, brakes, gas tank, and more. Needs a new headliner, carpet, and rubber kit. Oil cooler, power steering cooler and radiator are all original and good.

Some work is still required and it needs to be finished. Roy says it will be a good driver to enjoy. He is asking $32000 OBO. Roy can be reached at 336-684-8756. Please call with questions.

Some of my first and strongest memories from my childhood relate to cars. I still remember when things happened based on what car I was driving at the time. I grew up and lived in Iowa for nearly 40 years before moving to Southern California and now live in Tennessee. I was a Corvette fanatic for years but then re-discovered vintage American Muscle. My wife, Katrina, and I decided we wanted to focus on unique and rare muscle cars. After a lot of research we fell in love with the Ford Blue Oval Aero Cars. These were only built in 1969 and and aerodynamics became an important part of winning races. The only purpose of these limited production cars was to win NASCAR races using the Boss 429 and 427 power plants complimented with a special, wind cheating, aerodynamic body. The Ford Talladega and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II are terrific and historic cars. This site is devoted to these car and their owners past and present. We provide an Online Registry for recording the long term history and ownership of every remaining Talladega, Spoiler and Spoiler II.
